I AM BACK!!!!! (it's sure been a minute!)

Waaaassssuuuupppp. Has it been a minute or what! 5 years later & here I am...older & hopefully wiser too. Had completely forgotten about this blog until I received a random email from 'anonymous' who made a comment on 1 of my old posts...(thanks anonymous!) So here I am jumping back onto the bandwagon & re-starting the blog. So I haven't gone thru all my old posts but the couple I have I was laughing out loud! Oh to be 21 again...sigh* good old days for sure! Just to think back on those days gives me such joy but then it also makes me realise how time has literally flow by...it's crazy, ridiculous how much has happened & changed in my life...WOW! I will have to sit down & take stock of it all in my next post(hopefully not another 5 yrs time btwn this & the next one!) But for now, good to be back in business baby...hectichils is baaaaack! Out.

romantic movies are full of crap!!

why the violence u say...well i just realised while i was watching You Got Mail starring Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan (wat happened to her by the way??) well anyway its those typical love story and has a great ending blah blah blah...as i was watching this i thot to my self that this is the crap that leaves women all over the worl dissapointed when sumthing like that dont happen to them.i mean admit it hey,we all want sum fairytale love story thing to play out in our lives but the reality is its all fake...its not real.that stuff is not wat pans out there is it?i mean seriously,its crazy.they put all these ideas in our head and we go out there expecting these things to happen but more often than not its nothing like that.
dont u think its weird how it mostly women that go and watch these things and eat it up whereas men are sooo not interested! they are clued in men are...they know that those leading men are setting standards too high 4 them and they are not very attainable at all.
arrrggghhhh it makes me so mad...it really does!! anyway thats my little 2 minute ranting and raving 4 today...peace

A reason or season

People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime. When you know which one it is, you will know what to do for that person. When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away. Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on. Some people come into your life for a SEASON, because your turn has come to share, grow or learn. They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it, it is real. But only for a season! LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons, things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life. It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant. Thank you for being a part of my life, whether you were a reason, a season or a lifetime.

so i was supposed 2 do this a few weeks ago but ya...kinda didnt.anyway,here they are

day trip out to rottnest island

so yesterday we went off to rottnest island,which is about 30 odd kms away from perth.it was a beautiful day and glorious weather.not too hot and not too cold.me,andrew,sandra,sarah and chea got there at about 10am,went to hire the bikes and the snorkeling kits.sha i havent been on a bike in like years and years so was a bit apprehensive,but it was all 4 nothing coz once u get on it all comes back.so we rode around the island 4 a while then went to have a barbecue at lunch.after that is when we went swimming and snorkelling! the water in the ocean was crystal clear hey,like it was like something u see on Travel Channel.that place is beautiful beautiful.i think it has some of the best beaches in the world hey!so my 1st time snorkelling went really well,got the knack of it very quickly and ventured out onto the coral reef.its amazing the stuff u see underwater hey...little fish,seaweed,coral etc...wow! now that was an experiencce and a half.sha the riding was rather taxing come 4pm coz there are a couple of inclines and stuff.but ya,it was a great day.got home kuma 5 and boy was i tired...like seriously ka.i was in bed by like 8pm i was soo gone!
it was a great afternoon...i havent put the pictures on the computer yet so i'm gonna put a few of the ones from the previous day when we were walking about in Fremantle...

New Year baby! 2007

oh my goodness...its arrived huh,its crazy that its already 2007!who would have thot man!anyway,new years eve was really good.i went to work till 8:30pm then because the damn buses were full i had to walk from work to freo,which is quite the distance i must say! i was so pissed off coz sha,thats jus whack to be strapping to freo.anyway i got home and me and Andrew got ready to go out,went to northbridge where we met up with chea.it was soooo packed there it was ridiculous!there was a street party and the clubs where full.we went from club to club,had a few drinks and shots and no i didnt get drunk or anything near drunk so it was all good.we bumped into tendai and kathrine at base.we were there till about 3:45am! i know how crazy is that 4 me hey,i'm the one thats usually in bed by like 11pm mate! so we caught the train back to freo then had such a mission to wait 4 a taxi hey...we was there 4 like an hour and a bit and so when we did catch the item the sun was coming up and it was like 6am...YES i got home at 6am,ridiculous isnt it!
ooo an interesting thing was chatting to this British guy while i waited 4 the taxi.his name was jonathan and he was really cool. anyway,that was new year.i was so tired the whole of new years day because of the previous night,but i'm good now.had a good sleep.

so resolutions 4 the year...i dnt know hey! most importnat is graduating and doing very well in my last semester of uni,another is to get my self sorted so i know wat i'm gonna do with the rest of my life in terms of staying here,getting a job or maybe doing post grad.another resolution is to go to Cape Town and maybe the UK...i dont know. go out a bit more,meet more people hopefully...just have a good time really.
well thats that,hopefully this year is even better than last year(and last year was a ripper!)

FEAR!!

There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people will not feel insecure around you. It is not in just some of us, it is in all of us. And as we let our own light shine; we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others...Think about it..

i just finished putting up our xmas tree and that really made me start seriously thinking about christmas hey...its like in wat,10days away and thats so just now. who would've thot the year would go by so quickly!its been a whirlwind of a year and now its suddenly over. i remember being in zim last/early this year so clearly ka its ridiculous...
so the past year...its been a great year,pf course it has coz at the beginning i did declare that it would be THE year and it turned out to be actually! had a smashing 21st with the whole limo thang....that was hot!then went to melbourne twice,saw lion king,hung with friends etc...also went to a couple of parties,made new friends,found old friends thru the internet...yeah its really been one heck of a year! and now its gonna be capped of with my brotha arriving from zim for holiday on tuesday! how cool is that...too cool i tell ya! anyway i hope that the holiday is not just a good one but a great one and that everything is all good.not forgetting to celebrate the birth o christ our saviour Jesus and remember that this holiday is all about him....yup.here's to 2007 baby! One year closer to the world cup in SA...hooray!!
